Aaron Pierre’s first Wycombe goal earned his side a point at
home to Northampton, with both sides settling for a share of the spoils as this
vital bottom-of-the-table clash produced no victor.

AVLFC 0-2 DRBLFC – my first women’s football experience
Let me start by clarifying that the title is actually a lie and
Wednesday night was my second experience of women’s football.
The first one was Team GB women’s first ever fixture against Sweden – a drab 0-0 which left me with no desire to go out of my way to watch them
again. Certainly not all the way up to the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough,
anyway.

Dean Howell Feature Piece
I wrote this at the beginning of November as part of an assignment to hand in to uni; National School Meals week, therefore, is not this week and Junior Brown has scored another three goals since then. But the rest is still relevant, so read on!

Just missing out on my little gold badge...
Tomorrow won't be the first time I'll have missed the opening home game of Villa's season, but it'll certainly feel the strangest.

Almost a fortnight later...and I'm pining for Barcelona
It's over a week since my easyJet plane landed at Luton airport from Barcelona and I began the long journey back up to Preston, trying to remember what my own bed was like after experiencing the W Hotel's heavenly offerings.
Ironically, my sister arrived back from a school trip to Barcelona on Friday night. It got me looking through my photos again and wishing I'd been coming back at the same time as her after an 11-day stay, albeit with a few days of rainy weather thrown in.

48 hours and out: my Barcelona story so far
The first two days of my stay in Barcelona have been incredible. I've met a lot of
fun people, seen some beautiful sights and taken part in some exciting
activities. I would go as far to say it's been indescribable, yet I'm going to contradict myself and attempt to sum it all up in one post.
